Background:
Tom began his journey with Farrell Goode in January 2023 while completing his Bachelor of Laws. He previously studied a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Environmental Law and Management, which he commenced in 2018. Building on that foundation, he undertook his LLB in 2021. After gaining hands-on experience at the firm during his final year, Tom was officially admitted as a solicitor in 2024.
As part of the next generation of the firm, Tom combines contemporary legal training with a strong understanding of the local community.
Areas of Practice:
Toms’ main areas of practice include estates and traffic matters. He also assists with wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardianships, conveyancing, and general commercial and rural matters. His role involves handling a wide variety of incidental legal issues that arise across the firm’s practice areas.
What Tom Enjoys Most About His Job:
The variation of work from day to day is continually changing and keeps me on my toes. From appearing in court for a range of different matters to talking to people who are purchasing their first home, to the creation of wills, I get to experience peoples ups and downs with them.
Hobbies and Interests:
Outside the office, Tom enjoys golf, athletics, and rugby league.
Community Involvement:
Tom plays for the Temora Dragons Rugby League team during the winter season.
Interesting Fact:
Tom continues to coach athletics at his former school, when time permits, helping him maintain strong ties to the next generation of local athletes.
